CBT Test or Compulsory basic training (CBT) is a training course you usually have to take before you ride a moped or motorcycle on the road. Our instructors will work with you to get your riding to a standard where you are safe to ride independently and safely. CBT is not a test that you pass or fail, it is a training course followed by an assessment of your riding. After you’ve completed CBT, you can ride a: Moped if you’re 16 or over Motorcycle up to 125cc and with a power output of up to 11kW if you’re 17 or over (Both automatic or geared machines)

Once you have reached a test standard of riding, a Choice Bike Instructor will escort you to your test centre. We will give last minute guidance, take you on test routes and help make the entire process a smooth and enjoyable experience!
